Table: Chaelsea go top of the XFL on a technicality as they defeat Rangers 3-2
Mourinho Displeased

London, England. Chelsea's Jose Mourinho was displeased following the victory over Rangers despite avenging their XFL Cup defeat and going top of the league.

"Its was a good win... but eh, it does not make up for what happened in the cup, we should have won both matches, Rangers are not in Chelsea's class" provoked "The Special One"

The Chelsea/Rangers war or words in the past Two weeks seems to have provoked bad blood between the teams with ugly scenes following the final whistle on Sunday in the tunnel at Ibrox.

Mourinhos mood seems not to even have been bouyed by Chelsea displacing Manchester City at the top of the table

"No... it is not a real first plce, just because we beat Manchester City, we need to score more goals and improve this goal difference... next week we face Arsenal who are weak in defense, i may play Ronaldo as another striker, see if we can score a lot more"
Rangers Strike Back

Glasgow, Scotland. Following Rangers sensational 6-3 victory over Chelsea in the XFL Cup, spirits have been high at Ibrox, none more so than that of manager Walter Smith who spoke exclusivly to XFL.com about his famous win

XFL Cup Round Up

Various, England. The XFL Cup got underway in fine style leaving the possibility of a Glasgow derby or a Man United/Liverpool final still on the cards.

Rangers shocked both Jose Mourinho and Stamford Bridge into silence as they routed Chelsea 6-3, Liverpool comfortably overcame a lackluster Aston Villa 3-0, Man Utd won a nail biting Manchester derby 4-3 in injury time, Wayne Rooney the hero there and finally Celtic defeated Hearts in an easy 2-0 victory with goals from Henrik Larsson and Jan Venegoor of Hessilink.
