Manchester, England. Manchester City's run stretched to Three games last night with a 1-0 victory over Hearts, Gianfranco Zola with the only gola of the game. The victory ensured City remained top of the XFL with a Three point lead over nearest rivals Aston Villa who pulled off a hard fought comeback against Celtic to earn a 2-1 victory.

Elsewhere Manchester Uniteds defense finally got the message boss Alex Ferguson has been hammering into them with a 1-0 over Rangers and freescoring Arsenal finally managed to score more than they concede by defeating Newcastle 5-2.

Stamford, Connecticut. XFL officials have today officially announced details of the XFL Cup and "Million Dollar Game"

After week Three, the teams placed 1-8 in the league will qualify for the XFL Cup, the teams pl;aced 9 and 10 WILL NOT be eligible to play in this years competition.

Round One of the Cup will take place immediately following week 4
Round Two will take place following week 8
The XFL Cup Final will close out the season.

The winners of the XFL league and the XFL Cup will play each other in the inaugural "Million Dollar Game" with, as you can guess, a Million Dollars and a whole lot of pride at stake.
