Manchester, England. Man United finally did what they've been threatening for weeks as they thimped Villa 4-0 to go top of the XFL, one point clear on arch-rivals Manchester City. Again the Rooney-Tevez partnership paid dividends, Tevez getting a secopnd hat-trick on the bounce after Rooney opened the scoring, surely the title race is now down to United, City and Chelsea?
The chasing pack may have something to say about that however as Newcastles resurgence continued with a comprehensive 4-1 victory over Liverpool, Hearts beats an abysmal Celtic whos early form is all but gone and the aforementioned Man City hit a second draw in succesion to keep themselves in contention.
