Overview

Virtual XFL is a brand new and unique kind of E-Fed that crosses Professional Wrestling with Soccer and a bit of American Football thrown in for good measure.

Only in the XFL can you expect Jose Mourinho to cut a heel promo, Rafa Benitez to "Lie, Cheat and Steal" and Alex Ferguson to hold interviews in "Fergies Pit"

The XFL will combine a Match of the Day style football highlights show with promos, videos and segments to make one unique and fun product.

The matches will be football matches and not wrestling matches, the rules? well we'll make them up as we go along - expect Referee bumps and foreign objects the be the norm. Sledgehammer to Christiano Ronaldo? it may happen.

The Draft

The system is very similiar to VWWE, but with one major difference - the Draft

You must select a team (from the English or Scottish Premier League or MLS) and thus also, a manager. From this information i will select five players from your team to enter into a draft pool, i will asign each of these players a number between 1 and 10 depending on how good i believe they are, this score will not be revealed.

During the draft the players (in order of joining for the first season) will then pick one player in turn for their team until the pool is empty

There is a reasonable time limit given to make a selection before the XFL makes an automatic choice for you, usually the highest rated player left in the pool that came from your club in the first place.

Their collective score will then be added up and averaged to give the amount of guesses you will be allowed to submit each match. So just like in the real world, the better players you have, the better chance you have.

In future seasons teams will be allowed to retain Two players from the season previous.

Team line-ups and designated players

Each team will have six players (excluding goalkeepers who are not counted), these are the five mentioned above and a single "designated player"

These individuals are legends of the game or unique characters that will add interest, there will be ten designated players with the same scoring system as above. Each team will be allowed to draft one only and they can only be traded for other designated players.

The designated player will be the Captain of your selected club.

Trades

Trades between clubs are allowed during June, July and January. All trades must be agreed between both parties and you may onlytrade one for one. Trading of clubs IS allowed.

A single player may only be traded once each season

Titles

There are three titles in VXFL - The XFL League Title, the XFL Cup and the XFL Shield between the League and Cup winners which will not be contested in the first season.

Standard 1 point for a draw, 3 for a win apply. Teams will only play each other once.

Relegation

The bottom team will not be allowed back for the following seasons game
